Primorsko-Akhtarsk Map Poster & Print
Primorsko-Akhtarsk lies on the eastern shore of the Sea of Azov in Krasnodar Krai. The coast here is low and broken up. Shallow estuaries called limans push inland from the sea, and on a map they show as irregular pools of water edged by marsh. The town is laid out along the shore, with a regular street grid behind the waterfront.
Fishing has long been the main occupation here, and the limans around the town are known for fish and waterbirds. Seen from above, the landscape is split between land and water in a way that keeps changing along the coast. Straight town streets meet a shoreline that is anything but straight.
A Primorsko-Akhtarsk map poster turns this into a simple graphic: a grid meeting the uneven edge of a shallow sea, with lagoons scattered inland. In black and white the water areas read as calm, open spaces, and the town looks like a careful arrangement between them.

Limans and lagoons
Shallow estuaries and lagoons cut into the land around the town. Their irregular outlines add texture to the map and set the local landscape apart.
Regular street grid
Behind the shore, the town streets follow a mostly rectangular plan. It gives the composition an orderly centre surrounded by water and marsh.
