Stoughton Map Poster & Print
Stoughton is a town in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, about twenty miles south of Boston. Its map follows an older New England pattern rather than a grid. Historic roads radiate from a central square, meeting at irregular angles, while newer residential streets fill the spaces between them. Ponds, wetlands and conservation land add open shapes across the town.
The town has a commuter rail station, and the railway line gives the map one of its clearest long lines, connecting Stoughton's centre with Boston. Around the square, blocks are denser and more varied. Toward the edges, the street pattern loosens into looping subdivisions and wooded areas, the typical transition from village to suburban town.
A Stoughton map poster shows a place that grew outward from a crossroads over several centuries. The radiating roads give the composition a natural centre, and the ponds and green spaces provide contrast. It works in every style, but Classic black and white brings out the older road structure most clearly.

Commuter rail line
The railway runs through town toward Boston. Its long, gently curving line is a clear feature that cuts across the surrounding neighbourhoods.
Ponds and wetlands
Water bodies and conservation land are scattered across the town. They leave soft, empty shapes that balance the denser streets near the centre.
