Curving subdivisions
Neighbourhoods are laid out in loops and cul-de-sacs rather than grids, giving the poster an intricate, almost decorative texture that rewards a closer look.

Sugar Land Map Poster & Print
Sugar Land lies south-west of Houston in Fort Bend County, Texas, on flat land near the Brazos River. Its map is typical of a master-planned suburb. Winding residential streets, cul-de-sacs and loops are arranged around lakes, golf courses and parks, and major highways and a few straight arterial roads divide the city into large neighbourhoods.
The city takes its name from its sugar industry. Imperial Sugar operated a refinery here for more than a century, and the old char house still stands near the historic centre. Sugar Land has grown quickly in recent decades, adding a town square, offices and new districts while keeping the lakes and green corridors that shape its layout.
A Sugar Land map poster turns suburban planning into pattern. The curving streets form loops and spirals, the lakes appear as smooth shapes among them, and the highways cut clean diagonals across the sheet. Near the Brazos the land opens up, adding broader curves along the river and giving the composition a soft natural edge.

Lakes and parks
Man-made lakes and green corridors sit within the neighbourhoods, forming smooth open shapes that balance the dense web of streets.
Refinery district
The historic centre around the former Imperial Sugar refinery marks the city's origins, a compact area of older streets beside the rail line.

Sugar Land is where many families from greater Houston have settled, raised children and found a sense of community. A map of your neighbourhood makes a warm gift for a new home or for someone moving away.
Put your street, your family name or a move-in date in the title and subtitle, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The looping streets look particularly crisp in Classic.
