Ichamati riverfront
The river runs along the whole eastern edge of town, a broad band of water that doubles as the border and anchors the entire composition.

Tāki Map Poster & Print
Tāki sits on the western bank of the Ichamati River in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. Here the river forms the international boundary, so the town looks directly across the water to Bangladesh. On a map, this gives Tāki an unusual composition: a small built-up area pressed against a wide, slow river with another country on the far shore.
The town's streets run parallel to the riverbank and branch inland toward villages, ponds and fields. The landscape is flat and watery, typical of the lower Bengal delta, with tanks and channels scattered among the settlements and the river curving gently past the ghats.
Tāki is known for the Durga Puja immersion on the Ichamati, when boats from both banks meet on the river. A Tāki map poster captures the quieter everyday geography behind that occasion: the long riverfront, the modest street network and the open delta countryside.

Delta ponds
Small tanks and ponds dot the land around Tāki, forming a scattered pattern of shapes that is characteristic of the lower Bengal delta.
Riverside streets
The main streets follow the bank, with smaller lanes running inland, so the town's structure clearly reads as a settlement shaped by the river.
