Tiom Map Poster & Print
Tiom lies in the central highlands of Papua, the administrative centre of Lanny Jaya Regency in the province of Highland Papua. It sits at altitude among steep, forested ridges, and the map shows a town with few streets and a great deal of surrounding terrain, where roads follow valleys and hillsides rather than any regular pattern.
The highlands are among the least accessible parts of New Guinea by road, and air travel still plays an important role in daily life. The town's airstrip is one of its most recognisable features from above, a straight line set into a landscape otherwise shaped by slopes, gardens and streams.
A Tiom map poster is spare and quiet, a small cluster of lines surrounded by open space. It carries meaning for people from Lanny Jaya, and for those who have worked, taught or served in the highlands and want to remember a place that rarely appears on a wall.

Mountain valley
The town occupies a valley between steep ridges, and the terrain leaves the map largely open, with streets confined to the gentler ground.
Winding highland roads
The few roads leading out of Tiom curve along slopes and streams, drawing long, irregular lines across an otherwise empty frame.
