Urbano Santos Map Poster & Print
Urbano Santos lies in the northeastern interior of Maranhão, in northern Brazil, in country where cerrado vegetation meets farmland. From above, the town is a compact grid of streets with a clear centre. Its edges fade into scattered housing and dirt roads.
Around it, the land is wide and lightly settled, marked by field boundaries, tracks and small watercourses. The municipality covers a large area, and the town itself is the main concentration of streets within it, so on the map it reads as a well-defined island of lines.
An Urbano Santos map poster is a simple, faithful image of a small Brazilian town: the central streets, the roads that tie it to the region and the open landscape all around. It suits people from the town and families with roots in rural Maranhão.
