Branching tracks
Roads and tracks fan out across the settlement, joining scattered groups of homes rather than forming a grid, which gives the poster a light, spreading structure.

Usevia Map Poster & Print
Usevia is a settlement in the Katavi region of western Tanzania, a part of the country better known for its wide plains, seasonal rivers and wildlife than for its towns. On the map, Usevia does not form a dense centre. Tracks and roads connect clusters of homes and plots, and the built-up area thins out gradually into the surrounding bush.
This is a very different kind of map from a European old town. The lines are sparse and loosely spaced, and much of the sheet is open ground. That emptiness is part of the picture. It shows a community spread across the land, organised around fields, water and the routes that link one place to the next.
A Usevia map poster suits people with ties to this corner of Tanzania, whether through family, work in the region or time spent in the Katavi area. In black and white, the thin network of tracks becomes a minimal, almost abstract drawing that still carries the exact shape of the place.

Open woodland plain
Large areas of the map are left open, reflecting the woodland and savanna of the Katavi region that surround Usevia and separate it from neighbouring settlements.
Regional connections
Longer routes lead away from Usevia towards other communities in the region, drawn as a few clear lines crossing an otherwise quiet landscape.

A map of Usevia is rarely an impulse purchase. It is usually a personal record of a home village, a posting in western Tanzania or a long journey through the region, and it holds that memory with care.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Start with a free watermarked preview, then order the HD files or a printed poster.
