Merrimack floodplain
The river winds past East Concord in broad loops, with open fields in its bends. On paper those curves give the composition a slow, natural rhythm that no street grid could make.

East Concord Map Poster & Print
East Concord sits on the east side of the Merrimack River, looking across at downtown Concord, the capital of New Hampshire. From above, the river decides the shape of everything here. It loops through wide floodplain fields, and the neighbourhood's streets climb gently away from it toward wooded ground, so the map shows a clear line between open lowland and settled higher land.
The main road links run east to west, crossing the river on a few bridges that tie this side to the State House district. Interstate highways follow the valley and split near the river, and their sweeping ramps make some of the most graphic curves on the sheet. Further out, the street pattern thins into rural lanes, ponds and patches of forest, which is typical of the New England edge.
An East Concord map poster works almost like a double portrait. On one side of the river is the capital's compact grid, and on the other is the looser, greener ground of the east bank. Printed in black and white, the Merrimack becomes a pale ribbon through the middle, and the bridges read as short stitches holding the two halves of the city together.

River crossings
A few bridges carry traffic between the east bank and downtown Concord. They are small on the map, but they show exactly how the neighbourhood connects to the state capital.
Highway interchanges
Interstate routes follow the valley and branch near the river. Their looping ramps add clean, deliberate geometry beside the irregular riverbanks and the rural roads.
