The town lies on a slope, and its streets follow the contours, curving around the hillside instead of running straight. On the map the older centre forms a compact core, with newer residential areas climbing uphill.
On the Schillerhöhe above the town stands the headquarters of Robert Bosch GmbH, a campus of large buildings among trees that stands out clearly on the print.
