Serra do Ouro Branco
The long quartzite ridge south of town forms a sharp natural boundary, a strong horizontal line that anchors the composition and explains why the streets spread along the valley instead of uphill.

Ouro Branco Map Poster & Print
Ouro Branco sits in the Minas Gerais highlands, where the Serra do Ouro Branco rises as a steep, continuous wall along the southern edge of the valley. On a map the ridge reads as a dark band of contour, and the town spreads out beneath it on gentler ground, with roads following the valley floor rather than climbing into the hills.
Much of the town's modern form comes from the large steel plant built here in the late twentieth century. Whole residential districts were laid out to house its workers, which gives parts of Ouro Branco a more orderly, planned pattern than the older mining towns nearby. The industrial site itself appears as a large, regular block of rail sidings and long buildings beside the urban area.
The town lies on the historic route between Ouro Preto and Congonhas, part of the old network of colonial roads through the gold country. An Ouro Branco map poster captures that meeting of mountain, planned neighbourhood and heavy industry in a single frame, drawn in clean black lines without the clutter of labels and pins.

Planned residential districts
Neighbourhoods built for steelworkers show regular blocks and curving collector roads, a contrast to the irregular lanes of older settlements elsewhere in the Minas Gerais gold region.
The steelworks
The industrial complex beside town is one of the largest shapes on the map, a geometric field of sheds, rail lines and access roads set against the finer residential grain.

Kāpēc Ouro Branco
Karte ar nozīmi
For people who grew up in the workers' neighbourhoods or spent years at the plant, this map records a place defined by the ridge above it and the work done below. It suits a hallway or study where it can be read slowly, street by street.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, so the poster can carry a family name, a start date at the plant or a year of arrival. Choose from five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, to match the room.
