Florida Map Poster & Print
Florida is a municipality in Camagüey province, in the broad, flat interior of central Cuba. From above, the town is laid out in a regular grid of blocks. The Carretera Central, the main highway along the island, passes through it, and a railway runs alongside.
The surrounding plain has long been cane country, and the town grew with the sugar industry. On the map, the built-up area ends quite abruptly. Beyond it lies open land crossed by straight rural roads and field boundaries, with very little to interrupt the view.
A Florida map poster shows a clear, orderly town on a very open landscape. The grid is dense and regular, the highway and railway lines run through it, and space opens up at the edges. It is a quiet image of provincial Cuba.

Carretera Central
Cuba's main highway runs through the town. It crosses the map in a firm line that links Florida with Camagüey and the rest of the island.
Open plain
Beyond the town edge, straight rural roads and field boundaries spread across flat land. This shows the agricultural character of the region.
