La Isla Map Poster & Print
La Isla is a town in the state of Veracruz, set on the low, level country that stretches inland from the Gulf of Mexico. Its name means the island, a reminder of how often settlements in these watery lowlands grew on slightly higher ground. On the map, the town appears as a compact set of streets surrounded by wide agricultural land.
The lowlands of central and southern Veracruz are a landscape of rivers, drainage channels and large fields, and La Isla belongs to that setting. Roads connect it to neighbouring towns across the plain, and the edges of the built area give way quickly to open country, a pattern that reads clearly from above.
A La Isla map poster is a simple, uncluttered portrait of a small Mexican town. The regular streets at its centre contrast with the open space around them, and any nearby water or field lines add fine detail. It suits anyone who wants to keep a specific, personal place in view.
