Morohongō lies in Saitama Prefecture, in the Moroyama area on the western edge of the Kanto plain. From above, it sits where flat land begins to rise into wooded hills, and the street pattern changes accordingly: denser around the station and main roads, looser and more winding where the terrain climbs.
