Pervomaysk Map Poster & Print
Pervomaysk lies in the north of Mykolaiv Oblast, at the point where the Syniukha river flows into the Southern Bug. The modern town was formed in 1919 by merging three older settlements, Olviopol, Holta and Bohopil, which sat on different banks of the two rivers. That origin is still legible on a map: distinct street patterns on each side, joined by bridges.
Water shapes every part of the plan. The Southern Bug makes a broad curve through the town, the Syniukha arrives from the north, and the neighbourhoods on each bank keep their own orientation. Streets on higher ground form fairly regular grids, while those near the rivers bend to follow the shore, so the map reads as several quarters rather than a single centre.
A Pervomaysk map poster makes that three-part structure visible at a glance. The rivers become the strongest lines on the page, and the bridges between them turn into small, precise details. For anyone with family roots in the town, or memories of one particular bank, it is a way to hold the whole place in a single frame.

Three old towns
Olviopol, Holta and Bohopil were merged in 1919. Their separate street patterns still show on the map, each quarter set at its own angle on its own bank.
River crossings
Bridges link the quarters across both rivers. On the poster they appear as short, deliberate strokes joining otherwise separate grids, the details that make the town one place.

Pervomaysk is a town many people have left and still think of as home. A map of its rivers and quarters is specific enough to recognise immediately, and simple enough to sit calmly in any room of the house.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can be changed, so the print can carry a family name, a year or the name of a street. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as a $9 digital download or a printed poster.
