The town grid
Manatí's streets follow a regular pattern of blocks around a central plaza, which prints as a clear, orderly pattern in the middle of the poster.

Manatí Map Poster & Print
Manatí lies in the south of Colombia's Atlántico department, on flat land not far from the Canal del Dique and the Guájaro reservoir. From above, the town is a neat, mostly rectangular grid centred on a main square, the layout found in many towns of the Caribbean region. Around it, the ground is low and often wet, and the map shows marshy margins and water bodies instead of hills.
That low ground has shaped the town's recent past. In late 2010, a breach in the Canal del Dique flooded large parts of southern Atlántico, and Manatí was among the most affected towns, with water standing in its streets for months. The town has since been rebuilt, and the episode remains part of how people there describe the place.
A Manatí map poster shows the town's order and its setting together. The grid sits at the centre, crisp and regular, while the surrounding water and lowland spread out in looser, softer shapes. In black and white, that balance between a planned town and an unpredictable landscape is easy to see.

Reservoir and wetlands
The Guájaro reservoir and the marshy ground around the town appear as broad, soft areas of water. They give the map its sense of openness.
Roads across the plain
A few long rural roads leave the grid in nearly straight lines, linking Manatí with neighbouring towns across the flat southern Atlántico countryside.
