Colonial grid
Straight streets cross at right angles to form near-square blocks. This is the classic layout of towns founded in New Spain, and it reads crisply on the print.

Acatzingo Map Poster & Print
Acatzingo lies east of the city of Puebla, in the high valley along the route toward Orizaba and the Gulf coast. Like many towns founded in the colonial period, it follows a clear grid. Straight streets meet at right angles, and the blocks are arranged around a central square with the main church.
The grid is regular enough to feel almost diagrammatic on a map, which makes it look especially good in minimalist styles. At its edges the pattern loosens into looser blocks and field roads, and past them the valley opens into farmland typical of central Puebla.
An Acatzingo map poster shows the Spanish colonial urban plan still intact in everyday use. The plaza is the anchor of the composition, the streets run out from it in a disciplined pattern, and the main highway passes nearby as a long, contrasting line.

Central plaza
The main square and its church sit at the heart of the grid. They are the natural focal point of the map and the traditional centre of town life.
Valley farmland
Beyond the edge of town, the land opens into cultivated fields crossed by rural roads, which gives the poster a calm, open frame.
