Oasis core
Date gardens watered by falaj channels form the town's historic centre. Their dense plots contrast strongly with the open ground around them.

Adam Map Poster & Print
Adam is a town in Oman's Ad Dakhiliyah governorate, at the southern edge of the interior settlements. Beyond it, open desert stretches toward the central plains. It is known as the birthplace of Imam Ahmad bin Said, who founded the Al Said dynasty that still rules Oman. On a map, Adam's green heart stands out clearly against the empty country around it.
The town grew around its date gardens, irrigated by falaj channels, a traditional water system. Near the palms, the old quarters form a tight, irregular network of lanes between mud-brick houses. Newer neighbourhoods spread out in a looser, more regular layout. Straight modern roads cut across the plain to connect Adam with Nizwa and the rest of the country.
An Adam map poster suits Omani families with ties to the town, and anyone who has stopped here on the way into the interior. In black and white, the contrast between the cultivated centre and the wide desert makes the town look like an island of order. That is exactly what an oasis is.

Old mud-brick lanes
Beside the palms, the old quarters are a tight maze of narrow lanes, the most intricate part of the map at close framings.
Desert roads
Long, straight roads cross the surrounding gravel plains, connecting Adam to Nizwa and beyond and marking the edges of the sheet with clean lines.

အဓိပ္ပာယ်ရှိသော မြေပုံ
Adam holds a special place in Omani history, and for its families it is simply home. A map of the oasis and its lanes is a quiet way to keep that connection visible in a majlis, an office or a new house.
