Old town lanes
The historic centre forms a close cluster of narrow lanes and small blocks, the densest part of the map and the core from which later growth spread.

Agar Map Poster & Print
Agar sits on the Malwa plateau in western Madhya Pradesh, north of Ujjain. Since 2013 it has been the headquarters of Agar Malwa district, created from part of Shajapur district. On the map the town appears as a dense older centre of narrow lanes, surrounded by newer housing and government buildings along the main roads, with open farmland beginning close to the edge of the built area.
The countryside around Agar is typical Malwa: level, fertile black soil used for soybean, wheat and other crops, with water held in tanks and ponds after the monsoon. Where these sit close to settlements, as they often do here, they break up the street pattern and soften its outline. A temple dedicated to Baijnath Mahadev is a well-known pilgrimage site for the area.
An Agar map poster reads as a portrait of a plateau town. Fine lines trace the older lanes as a darker cluster, the district roads fan outward across the plain, and any water in the frame becomes a smooth, pale shape among the streets. It is a restrained image, well suited to a place whose character comes from its setting as much as its buildings.

District roads
Main roads leave Agar towards Ujjain, Shajapur and neighbouring towns, carrying the traffic of a district seat and structuring the newer neighbourhoods along their length.
Plateau farmland
Beyond the town, the map opens into flat Malwa farmland, broad fields and scattered water bodies that give the composition generous, calm margins.
