Amizour Map Poster & Print
Amizour lies in the province of Béjaïa in northeastern Algeria, in the Kabylie region. The town sits on the southern side of the lower Soummam valley, a short distance inland from the coast at Béjaïa. The terrain is hilly, and on a map the streets bend and climb, following ridges and slopes instead of a straight plan.
The Soummam River runs along the broad valley floor below, a wide, flat corridor carrying the main road and railway towards the coast. On the hills around Amizour, olive groves, small fields and scattered villages cover the land. Mountain roads wind between them, forming a looping network that links the town to the surrounding hamlets.
An Amizour map poster shows the typical contrast of this part of Kabylie: a flat, busy valley below and steep, cultivated hills above, with the town placed between them. For people from Amizour and its villages, the map traces the routes they know well, from the valley road to the family house on the hillside.

Hillside streets
Streets in the town follow contours and ridges, bending and climbing, which gives the centre an irregular, organic outline on the map.
Olive country
Groves and small plots cover the surrounding slopes, crossed by winding roads that link scattered villages across the hills.
