Araçuaí River
The river runs along the town and carries its name, forming the strongest line on the poster and marking out where the older streets began.

Araçuaí Map Poster & Print
Araçuaí sits in the Jequitinhonha Valley of northeastern Minas Gerais, beside the river that shares its name and not far from where it joins the Jequitinhonha. On a map the river is the defining line, and the town's streets spread across the gentler ground above its banks.
The layout shows a historic core near the water and newer neighbourhoods climbing into the surrounding hills, where the grid loosens and roads start following the contours. Beyond the edge of town the land is dry and rolling, crossed by a few roads that link it to other valley towns.
The Jequitinhonha Valley is widely known for its folk culture, especially clay figures and handmade crafts, and Araçuaí is one of its regional centres. An Araçuaí map poster shows the setting behind that tradition: a river town in open, sparse country.

Hillside neighbourhoods
Away from the water, newer streets curve up the slopes, and the tidier blocks near the centre give way to a looser pattern.
Valley setting
Around the town the map thins into a few long roads across dry, rolling land, leaving generous blank space around the settlement.
