Ranchería River
The river crosses the valley near town as a thin winding line. It carries water from the Sierra Nevada toward the Caribbean coast and explains why settlement gathered along this corridor.

Barrancas Map Poster & Print
Barrancas sits in the south of La Guajira, where the Ranchería River runs through a broad valley between the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and the Serranía del Perijá. On a map the town reads as a tight block pattern around a central square. Its streets fade quickly into farmland, dry scrub and the unpaved tracks that link the outlying settlements.
The municipality is closely tied to coal. Part of the Cerrejón open-pit mining complex, one of the largest in Latin America, lies within its territory. At poster scale the mining landscape shows up beyond the town as broad haul roads and cleared ground. The contrast between the dense residential core and that open country gives the drawing its structure.
A Barrancas map poster keeps things simple: the street grid, the course of the river and the roads that leave town along the valley. In black and white it becomes a quiet study of a small Caribbean-region town at the edge of a large industrial landscape. It reads clearly from across a room and still rewards a closer look.

Central town grid
Blocks of similar size spread out from the plaza in a classic Colombian layout. The pattern stays readable even at the smallest print size and anchors the whole composition.
Mining country
Beyond the houses, wide tracks and cleared land mark the coal region around Cerrejón. They give the edges of the map a sparser, more geometric texture than the town itself.

အဓိပ္ပာယ်ရှိသော မြေပုံ
For people from Barrancas, or those who worked in the region's mines and farms, the map keeps the town's layout close: the plaza, the familiar streets, the road out along the valley. It is a personal record, not a tourist view.
The title and subtitle can be changed to a family name, a year or a short phrase, and the coordinates line can mark an exact spot. Choose from five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download HD files for $9 or order a printed poster.
