Binnish lies in northwestern Syria, a short distance northeast of the city of Idlib, on the broad agricultural plain that stretches toward Aleppo. From above, the town has a compact, rounded form, with a dense core of courtyard houses and narrow lanes and newer streets spreading more regularly toward the edges.
