Comb of ditches
Long parallel ditches divide the land into narrow nursery strips. The repetition covers large parts of the map and looks almost like a textile.

Boskoop Map Poster & Print
Boskoop lies in South Holland, along the Gouwe between Alphen aan den Rijn and Gouda. From above, it looks unlike most towns. Beyond the centre, the land is divided into very long, narrow strips separated by water, a pattern shaped over centuries by peat digging and tree growing.
For generations, Boskoop has been known for its tree nurseries. The strips of land between the ditches are still used to grow trees, shrubs and ornamental plants, and the town gave its name to the Belle de Boskoop apple. Since 2014 it has been part of the municipality of Alphen aan den Rijn.
The Gouwe runs through as a straight waterway. The village core sits along it, and the nursery land stretches out on both sides like combed lines. A Boskoop map poster shows one of the most graphic landscapes in the Netherlands, where every parallel ditch reads clearly in black and white.

The Gouwe waterway
The river runs through Boskoop as a straight, strong line. The older centre and main roads cluster along its banks.
Village centre
A small, denser core by the water stands apart from the open nursery landscape and gives the eye a clear anchor.

အဓိပ္ပာယ်ရှိသော မြေပုံ
Boskoop's map looks like a pattern of lines, even before you know what it shows. It appeals to growers, to people who grew up among the nurseries and to anyone who likes graphic Dutch landscapes.
You can change the title and subtitle, for example to name a family nursery, and adjust the coordinates line. The parallel ditches look sharp in Blueprint and Noir and softer in Paper and Sand.
