Big Kinel meanders
The river curls through a broad valley, and its bends and cut-off oxbow lakes draw soft, rounded shapes that contrast with the straight streets on higher ground.

Buguruslan Map Poster & Print
Buguruslan sits in the northwest of Orenburg Oblast, on the Bolshoy Kinel river, and the map is organised around its water. The town's regular grid of streets fills the higher ground, while the river loops through a wide valley, leaving oxbow lakes and meanders along the floodplain. Railway lines cut across in long, gentle arcs, and open steppe farmland surrounds everything.
Founded in the eighteenth century, Buguruslan became one of the early centres of the Volga-Ural oil industry in the 1930s, and oil remains part of its identity. The town is also known for its civil aviation flight school, which has trained pilots for decades. Its streets still reflect the orderly planning typical of Russian provincial towns of that era.
A Buguruslan map poster pairs two very different forms: straight, rectangular blocks laid out on the land and the free, looping line of the river below them. That contrast makes for a strong black-and-white composition. It is a map of a working town on the edge of the steppe, framed by water, rail and fields.

Rectangular town grid
Much of the town is laid out in regular blocks, a clear and orderly pattern that makes the centre easy to read and gives the poster its structure.
Railway arcs
Rail lines sweep through the town in long curves, connecting it to the wider Volga region and adding strong, unbroken strokes to the composition.

အဓိပ္ပာယ်ရှိသော မြေပုံ
For former cadets of the flight school, oil workers, or families who moved away from Orenburg Oblast, a map of Buguruslan holds a very specific kind of memory: the river, the grid, the road out of town.
