Historic centre
The old town is a tight weave of narrow streets and small squares gathered around the cathedral, with a finer pattern than the districts that later spread along the ridges.

Caltanissetta Map Poster & Print
Caltanissetta sits almost at the centre of Sicily, far from the coast, on high, uneven ground surrounded by open hills. From above, the city is compact and irregular. Its streets follow slopes and ridgelines, turning and stepping rather than running straight, and the built-up area thins quickly into farmland and bare hillsides.
The historic centre forms a dense core of narrow streets around a few main axes and squares, with the cathedral near the heart of the old town. Newer districts extend along the ridges and roads leading out of the city. Nearby hills and the ruins of an old castle mark the edges of the landscape and give the map a clear sense of height.
The city grew in importance in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries as a centre of sulphur mining, and it is widely known for its Holy Week processions. A Caltanissetta map poster shows an inland Sicilian city shaped by terrain rather than by coastline, with the old centre still clearly visible at its core.

Ridge-following streets
Many roads bend to follow contours and hill lines, so the city spreads in long, irregular arms instead of forming a round or gridded outline.
Open inland hills
Beyond the edges of town the map opens into wide, lightly built countryside, a reminder of the mining and farming landscape of central Sicily.

အဓိပ္ပာယ်ရှိသော မြေပုံ
Caltanissetta is a city many families left for northern Italy or abroad, and a map of its streets can be a meaningful link to that origin. It also suits anyone drawn to the less-visited interior of Sicily.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for instance with a family name or a year, and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters on matte paper ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
