Old town lanes
The centre forms a tight net of narrow, turning lanes and small squares, the most detailed part of the map and the heart of the traditional town.

Chānasma Map Poster & Print
Chānasma is a town in Patan district of northern Gujarat, on the dry, level plain between Patan and Mehsana. From above it appears as a compact settlement with an older centre of narrow lanes, surrounded by newer roads and fields that stretch out across the plain in every direction.
The town is known in the Jain community for its temple dedicated to Parshvanath, and temples and religious buildings are part of the fabric of the old town. Like many towns in north Gujarat, Chānasma has water bodies near its edges that appear as calm pale shapes against the fine texture of streets.
A Chānasma map poster reduces the town to its essential lines: winding lanes at the centre, simple roads leading out and the open space of the plain. It suits families from the town, pilgrims and people with roots in the Patan area.

Open plain
Around the town, straight roads run across flat farmland towards Patan, Mehsana and nearby villages, leaving wide white space in the design.
