Chiplūn Map Poster & Print
Chiplūn lies in Ratnagiri district on the Konkan coast of Maharashtra, where the Vashishti River leaves the Sahyadri hills and flows towards the Arabian Sea. On the map the river is the main feature. It curves through the valley, with the town's streets packed along its banks.
The Mumbai–Goa highway and the Konkan Railway both pass through the town, and their lines cross the map in different directions. Steep, forested slopes rise to the east. On a hill nearby stands the Parshuram temple, an important pilgrimage site in the region. The river is known to flood heavily during the monsoon, which is a reminder of how closely the town depends on it.
A Chiplūn map poster brings together river, hills and transport lines. It shows a dense town along the Vashishti, wooded slopes around it and the long lines of road and railway. The composition has a natural, flowing structure that works well in black and white.

Road and railway
The Mumbai–Goa highway and the Konkan Railway both pass through Chiplūn. They are the longest artificial lines on the map.
Sahyadri slopes
Wooded hills rise to the east of the town. They create a soft, open area that contrasts with the dense streets by the river.
