Diu Fort
The Portuguese fortress holds the eastern tip of the island. Its sharp, geometric bastions against the sea make the most recognisable shape on the poster.

Diu Map Poster & Print
Diu is a town on an island off the southern coast of Gujarat, separated from the mainland by a narrow tidal creek and joined to it by a bridge. The Portuguese controlled Diu for more than four centuries, until 1961. On the map, the old town covers the eastern end of the island, with its lanes packed inside the line of the former walls.
Diu Fort, built by the Portuguese in the sixteenth century, occupies the island's eastern tip and faces the Arabian Sea on three sides. Its angular bastions are clearly visible even at poster scale. To the west, the island opens into lower, less built-up ground, with beaches along the southern shore such as Nagoa.
A Diu map poster shows a clear, bounded place: a sea coast on one side, a creek on the other, a fort at the point and a dense old town behind it. Few towns are so neatly framed by water. The island's outline alone makes a striking design, and the streets add fine detail within it.

Old town lanes
Narrow, irregular streets fill the area behind the fort, following the line of the old walls. They form a dense, intricate core.
Island outline
The island is framed by the Arabian Sea on one side and a tidal creek on the other. Its whole outline reads cleanly on paper.

အဓိပ္ပာယ်ရှိသော မြေပုံ
