Erāmala is a locality in Kozhikode district in northern Kerala, near the Malabar coast. On the map it does not have a single dense centre; instead, houses and lanes spread through a green landscape of coconut palms, small fields and water bodies, a pattern typical of rural Kerala.
The land here is gently rolling, with low laterite ridges and valleys where paddy fields and streams collect water. Roads follow the natural contours, creating a web of curving routes that link homes, temples, schools and nearby towns.
