The sandy peninsula curls out into Lake Erie and back toward the city. It forms one of the most recognisable coastal shapes on any map of the Great Lakes.

Erie Map Poster & Print
Erie is Pennsylvania's only port on the Great Lakes, and the lake shapes its map. The city's grid of streets runs down to the shore of Presque Isle Bay. This natural harbour is enclosed by Presque Isle, a curving sand spit that arcs out into Lake Erie and almost closes the bay.
The peninsula is now a state park. Its beaches, lagoons and ponds appear on the map as a delicate, hooked shape of water and land. Downtown, State Street runs straight up from the bayfront, and Perry Square forms a green block at the centre of the original town plan, a fixed point for the grid around it.
Erie's history is tied to the War of 1812. Ships for Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry's fleet were built here before the Battle of Lake Erie, and the reconstructed Brig Niagara is still based in the city. An Erie map poster brings together the steady grid, the sheltered bay and the sweeping peninsula.

Bayfront grid
Streets run in a regular grid down to Presque Isle Bay. Their straight lines meet the curved shoreline in a clear graphic contrast.
Perry Square
This park at the heart of downtown is named after the War of 1812 commodore. It anchors the original town plan along State Street.

အဓိပ္ပာယ်ရှိသော မြေပုံ
People from Erie tend to measure life by the lake: summers on the peninsula, winters of lake-effect snow, sunsets over the bay. A map poster holds that relationship between city and water in a single, quiet image.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a neighbourhood or a year. Choose Blueprint to echo the lake, or any of the other four styles. The $9 HD download covers six print sizes, and printed posters are also available.
