Gemas Map Poster & Print
Gemas lies at the south-eastern edge of Negeri Sembilan, close to the border with Johor. It is best known as a railway junction. This is where the east coast line, often called the Jungle Railway, branches off the main west coast line, and the station and tracks sit at the heart of the town.
The town's streets cluster around the railway, with a small commercial centre of shophouses and residential areas beyond it. The surrounding land is mostly plantation country. Its regular rows of oil palm and rubber stretch across the gently rolling terrain in every direction.
A Gemas map poster is organised around the junction. Two railway lines diverge from the station, the town's streets fill the space between them, and plantation roads spread outward in tidy patterns. For anyone interested in railways, it is a satisfying map.

Plantation landscape
Oil palm and rubber estates cover the land around the town. Their access roads and planting rows create a regular outer texture.
