Guri-si Map Poster & Print
Guri-si sits immediately east of Seoul in Gyeonggi-do, and its shape is set by two strong edges. To the south and west runs the Han River, broad and straight at this point, and along the western side rises Achasan, a low mountain ridge that separates Guri from the capital. Between them the city fills a compact valley with apartment blocks and a denser commercial centre.
Guri is home to Donggureung, the largest cluster of Joseon royal tombs, where nine tombs including that of the dynasty's founder lie on wooded hillsides. The group is part of the UNESCO World Heritage listing of the Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty. Achasan itself is known for the remains of Goguryeo-era fortifications along its ridge.
A Guri-si map poster brings the river, the ridge and the city into a tight, balanced frame. The large residential blocks form a regular pattern, the Wangsuk stream threads through town toward the Han, and the forested areas of Achasan and Donggureung appear as open space where the streets stop.

Achasan ridge
The ridge of Achasan runs along Guri's western boundary with Seoul, a green, roadless strip on the map that frames the city from the capital.
Donggureung tombs
The royal tomb complex occupies wooded ground in the north of the city, visible as a large, open area where the dense apartment grid gives way to forest paths.

အဓိပ္ပာယ်ရှိသော မြေပုံ
Guri is a place many people live in while working in Seoul, and a map of its streets gives that everyday home its own identity. The river and the ridge make it a naturally well-composed poster for a living room or entryway.
