Holden Map Poster & Print
Holden is a town in Worcester County, Massachusetts, just north of the city of Worcester. Like many New England towns, it combines a traditional centre with a wide area of wooded hills, neighbourhoods and roads spreading out into the countryside.
From above, the town centre appears as a small cluster where main routes meet, with civic buildings and older houses nearby. Beyond it, residential streets form loops and cul-de-sacs among forest, while reservoirs and streams belonging to the region's water supply add irregular shapes of water to the map.
A Holden map poster presents that typical New England balance of centre and landscape. The roads curve with the hills, the woodland leaves large open spaces, and the water bodies give the composition its most distinct forms. In black and white, the result is calm and well structured.

Reservoirs and streams

Wooded neighbourhoods
Residential roads loop through forested hills, leaving generous open space between them and giving the map a relaxed, spacious rhythm.
