Jamaame Map Poster & Print
Jamaame is located in the Lower Juba region of southern Somalia, north of the port city of Kismayo. The town lies almost directly on the equator, a detail visible in its coordinates. On a map, the most important feature is the Jubba River, which winds past the town in wide loops across a flat valley.
The river has made this one of the most fertile areas in Somalia. Irrigated fields and plantations have long been part of the local economy, and on the map farmland spreads out along the watercourse. The town itself is compact, with a small cluster of streets and tracks gathered near the river.
A Jamaame map poster shows a clear relationship between water and settlement: a curving river, a modest urban core and the open agricultural land around it. For Somali families living elsewhere, it can be a quiet, meaningful way to keep the shape of a home region nearby.

On the equator
Jamaame sits just a few kilometres from zero latitude, so its coordinates line on the poster reads almost exactly 0°, a quiet detail worth keeping.
Riverside fields
Cultivated land stretches along the river, where irrigation has supported farming for generations, and gives the map a wide, open setting.
