Valley floor
The town fills the flatter ground in the valley, where streets are most closely packed. This forms the densest part of the poster.

Javānrūd Map Poster & Print
Javānrūd lies in western Iran, in Kermanshah Province, among the mountains of the Zagros range. The town is located in a valley surrounded by steep, folded slopes, and the terrain defines its shape. The built-up area stretches along the valley floor, and roads leave town by following the natural passes between the ridges.
It is a predominantly Kurdish town, and the region around it is known for mountain villages, orchards and seasonal streams. On the map, the pattern is clearly influenced by the relief: streets closely packed where the land is flat, then becoming irregular and more sparse where the ground begins to rise.
A Javānrūd map poster shows a town shaped by the mountains around it. There are no contour lines in the minimal style, but the landscape can still be read in the empty spaces around the streets and in the way roads bend around the slopes. The result is a compact urban form set in a broad and quiet highland frame.

Mountain roads
Routes out of town follow gaps and passes between ridges, bending with the terrain rather than running straight.
Zagros setting
Around the town, steep slopes remain largely empty on the map, creating a strong contrast between the built-up valley and the highlands.
