Kālāvad Map Poster & Print
Kālāvad lies in the Jamnagar district of Gujarat, on the Saurashtra peninsula. The land is broad and mostly flat, and from above the town appears as a compact centre of close, irregular streets with main roads leaving toward Jamnagar, Rajkot and nearby villages. Around it, farmland spreads out in a patchwork of field boundaries.
The town serves as a market centre for an agricultural area, and the rhythm of the map reflects it: a dense core where trade happens, and a quick transition to fields. Small seasonal rivers and check dams cross the Saurashtra landscape, leaving thin lines and small patches of water on the wider map.
A Kālāvad map poster shows the town simply and clearly, with its knot of central lanes, the roads leading out across the plain and the open land around it. Printed in black and white, it becomes a calm, graphic portrait of a working town that means a great deal to the people connected to it.
