Kolokani Map Poster & Print
Kolokani lies in Mali's Koulikoro Region, north of the capital, Bamako, where the Sudanian savanna gives way to the drier Sahel. The land around it is broad and gently undulating. From above, the town is a modest, compact settlement surrounded by fields, scattered trees and open ground.
Kolokani is the administrative centre of its district and a meeting point for the surrounding villages. Farmers there grow millet, sorghum and other crops suited to a short rainy season. The street pattern is simple: wider roads cross the town, and smaller lanes fill the spaces between family compounds.
A Kolokani map poster is an exercise in restraint. There is no coastline or large river to organise the composition, only the pattern of streets and the tracks running into the countryside. Printed in black and white, that quiet structure speaks of a place defined by the land around it.

Outgoing tracks
Roads and tracks lead out from town toward villages in every direction. They form thin lines that give the poster a sense of connection and distance.
Savanna setting
Beyond the last streets, open farmland and bush stretch away on all sides. In every style, this leaves generous white space around the town.
