Highway backbone
The main road through the town is its strongest feature. Most of the built-up area follows it, giving the map a long, linear shape.

Kyegegwa Map Poster & Print
Kyegegwa is the main town of Kyegegwa District in western Uganda, on the road between Kampala and Fort Portal. From above, the highway is its backbone. The town runs along it, with shops and buildings on both sides and a smaller network of side streets behind them.
Rolling, green country surrounds the town, typical of western Uganda. Farms, grazing land and scattered homesteads cover the hills, and tracks lead from the main road to villages further out. Valleys and wetland strips follow the lower ground between the slopes and show as soft, winding shapes on the map.
A Kyegegwa map poster shows a town shaped by the road through it. The long main axis, the short side streets and the open countryside beyond make a clear, uncluttered composition. It is a fitting keepsake for people from the district and for anyone who knows that route to the west.

Side-street network
Behind the main road, smaller streets and tracks branch off into residential areas. They add depth to what would otherwise be a single line.
Rolling countryside
Hills, farmland and valleys surround the town. On the poster this open landscape gives the compact settlement plenty of room around it.
