Ribbon streets
Houses line the main roads between the village centres, with fields behind them. On the poster this makes long, beaded lines of streets reaching across open ground.

Lebbeke Map Poster & Print
Lebbeke is a municipality in East Flanders, between Dendermonde and Aalst. From above it doesn't look like one dense centre. It looks like a group of connected villages: Lebbeke itself, Wieze and Denderbelle. Each has its own church square and ribbon of houses along the roads that lead out of it, with fields in between.
This pattern of ribbon development, with houses lining the roads and farmland behind them, is very typical of Flanders, and it shows clearly on a map. Wieze is known across Belgium for its long-running Oktoberfest. Denderbelle sits near the Dender river, which adds a winding line of water to the western side of the composition.
A Lebbeke map poster captures that in-between quality: not quite town, not quite countryside. The streets form a web that is dense near the centres and sparse across the open fields. In a minimalist print the road network does most of the work, tracing how the villages grew towards each other over time.

Three village cores
Lebbeke, Wieze and Denderbelle each have their own small knot of streets around a church. They make separate focal points in one composition.
Dender valley
On the western side, the land drops towards the Dender river near Denderbelle. The water adds a soft curve to an otherwise road-dominated map.
