Old town centre
The core of Māgadi is compact and irregular, with narrow lanes and closely set buildings that contrast with the straighter roads on the outskirts.

Māgadi Map Poster & Print
Māgadi lies about fifty kilometres west of Bengaluru, in a landscape of red soil, farmland and granite outcrops. The town is closely associated with Kempe Gowda, the chieftain remembered as the founder of Bengaluru, and the area has long historic ties to the city that later grew to the east.
From above, the town has a dense, irregular centre with narrow streets, surrounded by newer growth along the main roads. Irrigation tanks appear as flat shapes around the edges, and in the wider taluk the great rock of Savandurga, often described as one of the largest monolith hills in Asia, rises above the plain.
A Māgadi map poster presents a small town with deep roots, set in the open Deccan countryside. The tight old streets, the roads radiating toward Bengaluru and the scattered tanks make a detailed, textured composition. It is a fitting map for anyone connected to Karnataka's history.

Irrigation tanks
Traditional water tanks lie around the town, appearing as broad open shapes on the map and reflecting the long history of farming in the region.
Road to Bengaluru
The main road east toward Bengaluru forms a strong axis through the map, a line that connects the town to the city with which it shares its history.
