Marvila Map Poster & Print
Marvila is a parish on the eastern side of Lisbon, facing the wide estuary of the Tagus. From above it looks quite different from the tight lanes of the historic centre. A railway line and riverside roads run along the waterfront, backed by a strip of former industrial buildings, warehouses and docks.
Inland, the ground rises and the map changes texture. Large residential estates, including the Chelas neighbourhoods, sit on the slopes with curving roads, open spaces and big blocks set far apart. In recent years the old riverside warehouses have drawn studios, galleries and breweries, and the area has become a centre for creative work in the city.
A Marvila map poster captures a Lisbon that most visitors never see: a working waterfront, long infrastructure lines and planned housing on the hills, all edged by the broad expanse of the river. It is a bold, layered composition with strong contrast between water and land.

Riverside rail corridor
Rail tracks run parallel to the river, separating the old industrial strip from the rest of the parish and forming a strong linear element.
Hillside estates
On the rising ground inland, large housing estates with curving streets and wide gaps form a looser pattern than central Lisbon's old quarters.

အဓိပ္ပာယ်ရှိသော မြေပုံ
For people who live in Marvila, or who know Lisbon beyond its postcard districts, this map shows the eastern riverside they know. It suits studios, flats and workspaces with a modern, industrial feel.
