Nyunzu Map Poster & Print
Nyunzu is a town in Tanganyika province, in the south-east of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. On a map it appears as a modest cluster of streets set in wide, open land, with the railway between Kabalo and Kalemie passing close by. Tracks and rural roads lead out toward surrounding villages across the savanna and woodland.
The town serves as a local administrative and market centre for a large, thinly populated territory. Much of the surrounding area is farmland and bush, and the rail line has long been one of the few fixed links to the rest of the region. The scale of the town is small, and its outline is informal rather than planned.
A Nyunzu map poster is a simple, spare composition. A few streets and the railway form the core, while the rest of the frame is largely empty land. That sparseness is what makes it honest: it shows a real place at its true size, and it gives people with roots here a precise image of home.

Compact centre
Most streets gather in a small area near the town centre, giving the map a single focal point surrounded by open space.
Open surroundings
Beyond the last houses, only tracks and rural roads cross the land, leaving wide blank areas that give the composition calm and scale.
