Estuary shoreline
Posorja sits on the edge of the channel leading into the Gulf of Guayaquil, so the coastline forms a strong, curving boundary across the map.

Posorja Map Poster & Print
Posorja is a coastal town in Guayas province, Ecuador, near the tip of the peninsula that marks the entrance to the Gulf of Guayaquil. On a map, it sits at a meeting of waters, with the estuary channel on one side and the open Pacific nearby, and its streets pressed along the shoreline.
The town has long been a fishing port, with fish processing an important part of local life. More recently, a deep-water port was built at Posorja to receive large container ships that cannot navigate the shallower channel up to Guayaquil, adding new infrastructure to the coastline near the town.
A Posorja map poster captures the drama of this coastal location: the curve of the shore, the wide channel, the compact grid of streets and the long lines of the port. Beaches and mangrove-lined inlets nearby soften the edges, making a map that is shaped above all by water.

Deep-water port
A modern container port near the town adds long, straight quays and access roads, a clear geometric contrast to the natural coast.
Fishing town streets
The town's compact grid of streets runs close to the water, reflecting its origins as a fishing community tied to the sea.
