Racibórz Map Poster & Print
Racibórz lies on the upper Oder in southern Poland, close to the Czech border. The river runs north through the town, and from above the historic centre is easy to find: a market square with streets branching from its corners, set on the west bank. On the opposite side, near a bridge, stands the castle of the old dukes of Racibórz.
For centuries the town was the seat of a Silesian duchy under the Piast dynasty, and the castle chapel of Saint Thomas Becket is considered one of the finest Gothic interiors in the region. Later, Racibórz belonged to Bohemia and Prussia before becoming part of Poland after 1945.
A Racibórz map poster shows how much the Oder shapes the town. The river's curves, the flood channels and the green areas along the banks divide the map into distinct parts, while the compact old centre sits at its heart. Housing estates and roads spread outward in broader strokes, giving the print a clear structure.

Castle by the bridge
The ducal castle stands near a river crossing, marking the historic link between the two banks and one of the town's oldest sites.
