Gomai riverbank
The Gomai runs along the town and gives the map its one natural curve, with the oldest and densest streets gathered close to the water.

Shāhāda Map Poster & Print
Shāhāda sits in Nandurbar district in the far northwest of Maharashtra, on the banks of the Gomai river. From above, the town reads as a dense core of narrow lanes close to the water, loosening at its edges into newer colonies, school grounds and roads that run out toward the surrounding villages. The river gives the map its clearest orientation, a soft curve against an otherwise irregular spread of streets.
The wider setting is agricultural. The Tapi flows a short distance to the south, and the plain between the two rivers is divided into long field boundaries, irrigation lines and small village clusters. To the north the land begins to rise toward the Satpura range, which forms the horizon of the region and marks the approach to the border with Madhya Pradesh.
On a Shāhāda map poster the contrast between the tight town centre and the open country around it becomes the main subject. Rendered in black and white, the river, the main roads and the scattered settlements form a quiet, balanced composition, closer to a survey sheet than a tourist map, and a fair picture of how a small district town meets its landscape.

Tapi valley plain
South of town the land opens into the broad, fertile plain of the Tapi, cut into field plots and linked by straight rural roads.
Satpura foothills
Northward the terrain climbs toward the Satpura range, so a wider frame shows the flat valley giving way to rising, less settled ground.

အဓိပ္ပာယ်ရှိသော မြေပုံ
People hang a map of Shāhāda because it is home, or was, and the outline of its lanes and river holds memories that a photograph rarely keeps. A plain line drawing stays personal without turning into a souvenir.
You can set your own title, add a subtitle such as a family name or a year, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose one of five styles, from Classic black and white to Sand, then download the HD files for $9 or order a matte print, framed if you like.
