Sialkot Map Poster & Print
Sialkot lies in north-eastern Punjab, on the flat, well-watered plains not far from the Chenab River. On a map it shows two distinct textures. The older city is a dense mesh of narrow lanes and bazaars with no clear grid, while the cantonment to its north is laid out with wider, straighter roads, larger plots and open green spaces typical of such planned districts.
The city is internationally known for manufacturing. A large share of the world's hand-stitched footballs has been made here, along with surgical instruments and other sports goods. It is also the birthplace of the poet and philosopher Muhammad Iqbal, whose family home remains a place visitors seek out.
A Sialkot map poster reduces the busy city to its structure: the tight old core, the ordered cantonment, the roads radiating toward surrounding towns and farmland. The contrast between those patterns is what makes the map interesting on a wall, a record of how an old trading town and a planned district grew side by side.

The cantonment
A planned district with broader roads and generous plots, whose straighter lines contrast clearly with the organic street pattern of the older city.
Roads to the plains
Main routes leave the city in several directions across flat farmland, giving the map a loose star shape around its crowded centre.
