The Dommel
The river winds through and around the village in soft loops. Meadows line its banks, and it forms the most fluid line on the map.

Sint-Oedenrode Map Poster & Print
Sint-Oedenrode is a village in North Brabant in the southern Netherlands. Since 2017 it has been part of the municipality of Meierijstad. The Dommel river winds through the village, and its loops are surrounded by meadows and small woods. The centre is built around a long market square, and residential streets spread out from it.
In September 1944, Sint-Oedenrode was on the route of Operation Market Garden. The main road between Eindhoven and Veghel became known to Allied troops as Hell's Highway, and the village was one of the places they fought to hold. Today it is mainly a green, quiet village surrounded by farms and country estates.
A Sint-Oedenrode map poster balances a compact centre with the meandering Dommel and a patchwork of fields. The river's curves and the long market square give the print a strong structure. It is a gentle, harmonious composition that works well in any style.

Market square
The long market square sits at the centre of the old village. The main streets meet here, so it becomes a clear focal point in the drawing.
Brabant countryside
Around the village, fields, farm roads and small woods create a varied pattern typical of the Meierij region.
