Contour roads
Roads curve around slopes and along ridges instead of cutting straight across, giving the map a soft, winding structure shaped entirely by the mountain.

Sironko Map Poster & Print
Sironko is a town in Eastern Uganda and the administrative centre of the district of the same name, set on the lower western slopes of Mount Elgon. This is the Bugisu region, home of the Bagisu people. The land around the town is steep and heavily cultivated, with small plots, banana gardens and coffee farms reaching up the hillsides.
The map reflects that terrain. Roads bend to follow contours instead of running straight, and the town's streets gather where the ground levels out enough to build. Streams run down from the mountain toward the plains in parallel valleys, including the Sironko River, which shares the town's name. Beyond the centre, settlement thins into scattered homesteads along tracks on the ridges.
The slopes of Elgon are known for arabica coffee, often sold as Bugisu coffee. The area is also known for Imbalu, the Bagisu circumcision ceremony that marks a young man's passage to adulthood. A Sironko map poster shows the town at close range, where the mountain's influence is visible in every curve of the roads.

Town centre

အဓိပ္ပာယ်ရှိသော မြေပုံ
A map of Sironko is for people who know these slopes: families from the district, coffee growers, teachers and health workers who served here, or anyone who has moved to Kampala or abroad and wants the shape of home on the wall.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a family name, a village or an important date. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand gives the hillside roads a warm tone, and Noir makes them stand out sharply.
