Lake Atitlán
The broad volcanic lake lies to the south. At wider framings it becomes a large, smooth form that anchors the poster against the town's detailed streets.

Sololá Map Poster & Print
Sololá sits on high ground on the northern side of Lake Atitlán in Guatemala's western highlands. The map captures a town built on a slope. A compact centre surrounds the plaza, streets climb and curve with the terrain, and roads descend steeply toward Panajachel and the lakeshore below.
The town is a regional centre for the Kaqchikel Maya, and its market days draw people from villages around the lake and across the hills. Traditional dress is still widely worn here. As the departmental capital, Sololá also has an administrative role alongside its commercial one.
A Sololá map poster sets the town at the edge of a vast, calm shape. At wider framings the lake fills much of the lower part of the composition, while the dense streets of the town cling to the slopes above. The contrast between fine urban detail and smooth water gives the poster a striking, almost sculptural balance.

Descent to Panajachel
A winding road drops from Sololá to the lakeshore town of Panajachel. Its switchbacks trace the steepness of the slope in a single line.
Plaza and centre
The core forms a small grid around the central plaza and cathedral. It is tighter and more regular than the neighbourhoods spreading across the hills.
