Talamba Map Poster & Print
Talamba lies in Khanewal district of Punjab, on the flat alluvial plain near the Ravi river. The town is compact, with a dense centre of narrow lanes and a few main roads carrying traffic to nearby market towns. Beyond it, the land opens into large rectangular fields crossed by irrigation channels, a pattern typical of central Punjab.
The place has a long history. Near the town stands a large archaeological mound, the remains of an older fortified settlement that has attracted attention from historians of the region for its age. The modern town grew up nearby, serving the surrounding agricultural villages as a local centre.
A Talamba map poster shows a small town in a vast, carefully divided landscape. The tight street pattern of the centre stands against the straight lines of canals and field boundaries. It is a personal map for people whose families come from this part of Punjab, and a quietly graphic one for anyone who likes the geometry of irrigated plains.

Irrigation channels
Straight canals and distributaries cut across the surrounding land, giving the map long, clean lines that frame the town.
Rectangular fields
Farmland is divided into large, regular plots, creating a gridded texture that fills the edges of the poster around the settlement.
